A young man has sustained severe injuries after a car and a motorbike collided on the San Andrés motorway in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government.
The injured man, aged 28, suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and was transported in a medicalised ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
The accident occurred at approximately 22:26 hours on Sunday on the aforementioned motorway.
