Five Injured After Car Leaves Road on the TF-5 Through La Laguna

Five people were injured early this Sunday after their vehicle left the road at kilometre point 15 of the TF-5 motorway, heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the municipality of La Laguna, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The incident occurred at around 03:59 hours, when the 1-1-2 operations room received an alert reporting the incident, prompting Cecoes to immediately activate the necessary emergency resources to respond in the area.

Upon arrival, Tenerife Fire Brigade members proceeded to free one of the affected individuals from inside the vehicle, as the other occupants had managed to exit on their own.

Meanwhile, Canary Islands Emergency Service personnel assessed and attended to five affected individuals, aged between 24 and 50, who sustained various degrees of trauma, one of which was severe.

All of them required transport to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands and the University Hospital Ntra. Sra. de La Candelaria.

The Civil Guard regulated traffic on the road and filed the corresponding report.
