A group of 61 migrants arrived in the early hours of Sunday morning at the dock of La Restinga, on the island of El Hierro, aboard a vessel, according to the Coordinating Centre for Security and Emergencies (Cecoes 112) of the Government of the Canary Islands.
Sources from this regional department specify to Europa Press that the vessel reached the island at 12:02 am by its own means. Once ashore, they were attended to by staff from the Canarian Emergency Service, Red Cross, and Primary Care.
All the migrants, they note, are in good general condition.
