This week Tenerife has been ‘militarized’ with the Armed Forces Parade. This year, Santa Cruz has been chosen as the site to carry out the various events that encompass the official agenda. Even the cocktail with which the Chicharrero City Hall hopes to surprise its guests is known, featuring potatoes, ribs and corn, roasted pork leg, and Canarian cheeses as highlighted foods.
On Tuesday, the first public events began, with various parades, flag-raising, and activities in an open-air military museum. Meanwhile, other members of the Armed Forces are preparing for the main day of the celebration. Next Saturday, June 7, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will preside over the land and air parade that will run along the Santacrucera coastline.

For the latter, several aerial vehicles are practicing the different maneuvers they will perform that day. As usual, the sky has roared with the passage of military jets, causing many people to turn their heads towards the sky looking for where such noise is coming from.
An unusual spectacle in the Islands, which will turn Santa Cruz into the military capital of the country during these weeks.
