The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council is attempting to curb illegal parking at bus stops in the municipality, as it hinders access to public transport for people with reduced mobility. The council will install accessible platforms on the road at twenty stops in the capital, aiming to assist these citizens in boarding the buses and prevent cars from encroaching on these spaces. These new twenty modular platforms will be in addition to one installed last November, as a pilot project, at a stop in the Ofra neighborhood.
