A 57-year-old individual has sustained injuries after being struck on the Chío to Aguayo road, located in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in southern Tenerife.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of the Canary Islands Government has stated that the incident occurred at approximately 21:31 on Sunday, with the pedestrian suffering from severe polytrauma.
Medical personnel from the local Health Centre and the Canarian Emergency Services attended to the injured individual at the accident site before transferring them to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
