On Monday, officers from the Local Police of La Orotava and subsequently personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) responded to a report of a woman experiencing a cardiorespiratory arrest on Bishop Estévez Ugarte street in Tenerife, as detailed by the 1-1-2 Canary Islands.
The incident took place at 11:43 when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands government received a call regarding an individual who had collapsed on the street and required medical assistance.
The local police officers from La Orotava arrived at the scene and found that the individual was in cardiorespiratory arrest. They immediately began performing resuscitation techniques.
Upon their arrival, SUC personnel continued with advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation methods, successfully restoring a pulse. Once stabilised, the individual was transported in critical condition by a medicalised ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
