Tenerife Chaos: Three Hurt as Car Overturns, Creating Pools of Confusion

A dramatic incident in Tenerife has resulted in injuries to three individuals after a vehicle overturned upon several pedestrians. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in the municipality of Los Realejos, located in the northern part of the island.

Specifically, this occurred at 7:34 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of the Canary Islands Government (CECOES) 1-1-2 received a call reporting the overturning of a tourist vehicle followed by the unfortunate collision with two pedestrians on the TF-316 roadway.

The 1-1-2 service promptly dispatched the necessary emergency services: the Tenerife Fire Consortium extricated one of the injured from inside the vehicle and secured the scene, whilst medical personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) treated the three individuals and transported them to the aforementioned hospitals.

The injured parties included a woman who, at the time of initial care, exhibited moderate neck pain and was taken by a medicalised ambulance of the SUC to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands; a 65-year-old man presenting mild neck pain, who was transported in a basic life support ambulance of the SUC to Hospiten Bellevue; and another woman who also showed mild neck pain, transferred in a basic life support ambulance of the SUC to Hospiten Bellevue.

In conclusion, the Local Police conducted an investigation, while the general body of the Canarian Police assisted with the remaining emergency resources.
