Firefighters in Tenerife have freed a woman who was ensnared in the wreckage of a car following a collision involving three vehicles on the TF-65 road, near Chafiras in the municipality of San Miguel de Abona.
According to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre 112, firefighters arrived at the scene to assist the injured individuals and extricate one of the occupants who had become trapped within the vehicle.
Staff from the Canarian Emergency Service also attended to the affected person, who was subsequently transported by ambulance to a hospital on the southern part of the island, where she arrived with moderate injuries.
Furthermore, the Civil Guard managed traffic on the road and conducted the necessary procedures, while personnel from the road maintenance service undertook the cleaning operations on the route.
