This summer, the blue flag will be raised at 47 beaches across the Canary Islands, marking a decrease of nine compared to 2024. This reduction follows the loss of this honour for four beaches in Tenerife, an additional four in Lanzarote, and one in Fuerteventura, as announced on Wednesday by the environmental organisation responsible for this recognition.
