Santa Cruz de Tenerife 5 May. (Press Europa) –
Rosa Dávila, the president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, asserted on Monday that her administration is “unstoppable” and that citizens are beginning to “notice” the shift in direction of the island following the “plane mode” and the “neglect” of the previous socialist government.
In the ‘debate on the state of the island’, she presented some economic statistics, including a record employment rate of 436,000 individuals, the creation of 20,000 new positions since her term commenced, and a reduction in the youth unemployment rate to 18%.
Pedro Martín, the leader of the Socialist Group, has ridiculed the “failed announcements” made since he assumed the presidency, while Vox spokesperson Ana Salazar has condemned her “brief and superficial” remarks in her speeches and press releases.
