Magical Dance Unites 15,000 Revelers in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Approximately 15,000 individuals took part this Friday evening in the nonagenarian edition of the Magician dance in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which was held in the vicinity of the Church of La Concepción, where over 700 tables were set up.

The Plaza de Europa and Campo Castro served as the venues for the celebration of the traditional dance of Taifas, featuring performances from various folk groups including Parranda La Sowing, AF Jariguo, Los Campitos, Achi Anaga, Peña on Monday, Nijota, Affayra, Ocviños, Figures of the Atlantic, and Alcorán.

The younger attendees had another highlight of the evening with the popular verbena, showcasing performances from the Tropin Orchestra, Pepe Benavente, and the Sonora Olympia orchestra, as noted by the City of Santa Cruz in a statement.

The traditional atmosphere blended on a night when guests relished not only Canarian music but also a selection of exceptional homemade cuisine.

Prior to the commencement of the Magician dance, the traditional floral offering to the Virgen de la Candelaria was celebrated at the Monument to the Patron of the Canary Islands situated in the Plaza de la Candelaria.
