The efforts made by Ernesto José Llebry have secured the top accolade in the Natural Flower Cruces Contest held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, featuring participation from 21 local associations and cultural organisations.
The second place in this traditional competition, organised in celebration of the May festivities in the capital of Tenerife, was awarded to the Cross presented by the Association El Arcipreste de los Lavaderos, while the third prize went to the Tamaragua Cultural Centre, as stated by the local council in a press release.
The Honourable Mention was awarded to the creations from the community associations Ruymán and Haineto Príncipe de Anaga, respectively.
In the contest-exhibition for school crosses, the top prize in the children’s category was claimed by CEIP Villa Ascension, with CEIP Las Delicias receiving the second prize.
In the primary and special education category, the highest award was conferred upon CEE Brother Pedro, while the second honour went to the Secondary CEIP.
In the Secondary and Adult Education category, the first prize was awarded to La Farola de Santa Cruz, with the second prize going to the English Hispanic College.
