Among those six individuals under provisional liberty are a Chief of Brigade from the National Police, an acting sub-inspector from the same force, and a legal representative.
The operation resulted in a total of eight arrests, including the officer who initially managed the investigation concerning ‘Tito Berni.’

Arona’s Court of Instruction No. 3 has mandated the pretrial incarceration of a businessman from Labanse, based in Tenerife, who was apprehended on Wednesday alongside seven others, under investigation for alleged offences such as belonging to a criminal organisation, drug trafficking, bribery, and money laundering, among other charges.
Out of the eight detainees, seven appeared before this tribunal on Thursday, with six of them placed under provisional measures, primarily the obligation to report periodically to judicial authorities, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC) to the press.
Among the six individuals provisionally investigated are a retired brigade chief of the National Police, an active sub-inspector from the same body, and a lawyer.
During the judicial proceedings, five of the seven individuals chose to exercise their right not to testify. Meanwhile, the chief inspector detained in La Coruña could not provide a statement, having been released by authorities in that province. According to the TSJC, it is expected that their statement will be taken in the upcoming days via videoconference.
The judicial authority has lifted the summary secrecy for the involved parties, and the investigation continues to progress.
