Yesterday, a motorhome ignited in Los Cristianos, resulting in its total destruction. A significant plume of smoke could be seen from afar, and the wail of sirens alerted nearby residents, who promptly informed the authorities.

Arona’s police were the first responders, securing the area by restricting access for both vehicles and pedestrians while awaiting the arrival of additional emergency services.

The Tenerife firefighters swiftly intervened, managing to bring the blaze under control within minutes. Equipped with breathing apparatus and high-pressure hoses, they effectively extinguished the flames in a short span of time.

Besides the motorhome that was affected, a motorcycle and nearby tourist facilities also sustained damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and only material damage was noted.
