An inter-island flight from Lanzarote was redirected on Tuesday to Tenerife South due to poor visibility caused by fog affecting the North Tenerife airport, as reported by Europa Press Fuentes de Aena.
Throughout the day, there were also several flight delays; consequently, the start of the Plenary of the Parliament of the Canary Islands was postponed.
Following the power outage that impacted the entire Peninsula on Monday and led to the cancellation of numerous flights, many affected individuals spent the night at the airport, which extended its operating hours, and they received assistance from Aena’s services.
