Santa Cruz de Tenerife 25 Apr. (Press Europa) –
A collective of migrants occupied the reception centre situated in the former Tenerife I prison, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on Thursday afternoon, with the National Police eventually managing to resolve the situation.
According to the police force, the involvement of a negotiator was essential, who, with the assistance of the intervention units, was able to come to an agreement with the migrants, a group of around ten individuals initially.
Regarding the reasons for this incident, the National Police did not provide specifics, though they emphasised that the issue was resolved.
