The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government has received multiple reports regarding a significant blaze on a vessel at the Industrial Estate of Güímar Valley in Tenerife.
This information has been shared by the 1-1-2 service of the Canary Islands through its social media platforms, stating that teams from Tenerife are already on site to tackle the fire.
Additionally, the Local Police and personnel from the General Corps of the Canarian Police have been mobilised.
According to 1-1-2, an ambulance from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) has been dispatched as a precautionary measure.
Due to the thick cloud of smoke produced by the fire, the TF-1 road has been closed in both directions near the industrial estate.
The 1-1-2 service urges caution for motorists travelling through that area.
