SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE APR. (Press Europa) –
Two women sustained injuries on Saturday following their exit from a vehicle and a subsequent collision with a lamppost on the main road in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident took place at 04:55 hours when the 1-1-2 control room received an alert regarding the occurrence, prompting CECOES to immediately deploy the necessary emergency resources to the location.
Upon arrival, medical personnel from the Canarian Emergency Department assessed and treated the victims. One woman suffered a moderate head injury, while the other displayed several moderate traumas.
An ambulance was requested to transport the injured parties to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands and to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
Firefighters from the Tenerife consortium provided support alongside the emergency resources. Meanwhile, the Local Police conducted the relevant documentation.
