The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility of the Canary Islands Government has declared alterations in traffic on the TF-1 motorway from April 21 to 25, in order to proceed with the development of the third lane on the route, starting from the kilometre marker 62 +196.
The Canary government, in a statement, clarified that these disruptions will take place during the night, at 6:00 pm, and that traffic on the TF-1 will be redirected in both directions to facilitate the works planned for the installation of the prefabricated beams of the semi-fin of Chafiras, in the section referred to as San Isidro-the Americas section. Consequently, the statement outlines that traffic will be diverted within the high and low Chafiras Industrial Polygon, specifically in the area between exits 62 and 64.
This initiative is designed to ensure road safety, sustain traffic flow and reduce, to the greatest extent possible, the inconvenience for regular users of the road.
The General Directorate of Road Infrastructure urges drivers to exercise utmost caution and to obey traffic signals and personnel to ensure safety in the area during the construction activities.
