When the sun sets, Tenerife doesn’t slow down, it wakes up. From beach bars to live music spots, late-night food, and casinos, the island has a lot going on after dark. Whether you’re in Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas, Santa Cruz, or a smaller town, there’s always something to do. Here’s a simple guide to making the most of your nights in Tenerife.

Try Your Luck at a Casino

Want a night that feels a little more polished? Head to Casino Playa de las Américas. It’s under the Hotel Gran Tinerfe in Costa Adeje. You’ll find roulette, blackjack, poker tables, and slot machines. There’s also a bar and restaurant, so you can grab a drink or a snack without leaving the building.

In Santa Cruz, check out Real Casino de Tenerife. It’s part casino, part social club, and part cultural space. It’s not a full-on gaming centre, but the building is beautiful and full of history. It’s a good stop if you want a more laid-back experience.

Some people would rather stay in and play online. A reputable casino non-UK licensed platform can offer more games, quicker payouts, and easy payment options. Still, if you want a real place with people, food, and a good vibe, Casino Playa de las Américas is a solid pick.

Late Night Food That Hits the Spot

Need food after midnight? Tenerife has you covered. Mesón Castellano in Playa de las Américas is a favourite for a reason. It’s open late and known for big plates of grilled meats, seafood, and tapas. It’s busy, but for good reason.

In Santa Cruz, Bodegón El Puntero serves classic Canarian food until late. Think papas arrugadas, grilled octopus, and local wine. The place is simple, but the food is strong.

Up north, Dabeke in La Orotava is a bit more modern. It’s cosy and open later than most restaurants. You’ll want to book ahead, especially if you’re nearby.

Bars with Good Vibes

You don’t need a nightclub to enjoy the night. Tenerife has tons of bars where you can relax, listen to music, and have a drink. Kaluna Beach Club in Costa Adeje is a popular choice. It starts off as a chill spot in the afternoon and becomes a stylish bar at night.

In Los Cristianos, The Vault Bar is known for live music and themed nights. The staff are friendly and the crowd is a mix of locals and tourists. It’s fun without being loud or pushy.

In Santa Cruz, Café Atlántico is a quieter option. It’s in an old colonial building and often has jazz nights and drink specials. It’s perfect if you like a slower pace and good conversation.

Where the Party Goes Late

Tenerife’s clubs open late and run even later. Papagayo Beach Club in Playa de las Américas is one of the top spots. It’s right by the beach, has DJs every night, and stays open until morning. You can expect a mix of themed nights, guest performers, and VIP areas.

Close by, Tramps – The King of Clubs is another big name. It’s known for great sound and a solid DJ line up. Different rooms play different music, so you can switch it up based on your mood.

In Santa Cruz, things are a bit calmer, but El Hombre Bala Rock & Coffee still brings the energy. It feels more local and laid-back, with DJs and live sets on the weekends.

Final Thoughts

Tenerife has a full night scene, no matter what kind of vibe you’re after. From casinos and street food to dancing or just catching live music, there’s always something going on. Each part of the island has its own feel, but they all offer a reason to stay up late.
