The residents of the low-urbanisation that were evacuated as a precaution on Tuesday night, following a significant landslide on the hillside that severely impacted a property, have been able to return to their residences, as stated by the San Cristóbal de la Laguna City Council.
The displaced individuals spent the night in a temporary accommodation provided by the local authority.
Prior to their return, an operation was launched with various emergency services at the scene, including the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium, the Insular Road Maintenance Service, along with local police officers and Civil Guard personnel.
The Lagnero Council indicates that the property affected by the force of a large boulder, weighing approximately 1.5 tonnes, has been reinforced.
Furthermore, technicians from the road division of the Cabildo de Tenerife have examined the condition of the damaged property and the slope in recent hours to ascertain through a report whether there is a risk of further landslides.
