Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 14 Apr. (Press Europa) –
The Ministry of Social Action of the Cabildo de Tenerife has initiated the application period for third sector organisations to access the funding line designated to cover their operational expenses.
The application window for these grants will remain open until 23 April, and organisations can submit their applications via the ‘procedures’ section of the Cabildo de Tenerife’s online portal.
The councillor, Águeda Fumero, highlights in a statement that “these grants have a financial allocation of €155,000 and aim to bolster the third sector, ensuring the sustainability of the social initiatives they undertake.” She further explains that “these subsidies facilitate economic viability for the organisations, allowing them to continue engaging in general interest activities across Tenerife.”
Fumero emphasises “the significant role that third sector organisations play in social administration,” which is why a “strong commitment to collaborate with them is being established, creating a network of partnerships that enables the Cabildo to provide increasingly specialised social services of superior quality.”
Funding for operational costs will assist third sector organisations in managing their running expenses, such as supplies, office materials, taxes, municipal rates, personnel, and fuel costs.
