The PLAZA DEL CRISTO in San Cristóbal de la Laguna will host the fifth edition of Burger Fest Canarias from April 24 to 27. This event promises to showcase the finest selections of gourmet burgers, handcrafted beers, and an exciting lineup of DJ performances and sessions. Entry will be free throughout the four-day festival.

This year’s gathering will feature 20 burger establishments from across the islands. Representing Tenerife will be Chief Food Truck, La Chula Street Food, Joy Food Truck, Ism Rich, Mustazza Beer, Tenerife Fingers, My Mother Médano, The Foam, Fusion Burger, Smash Hub, and Ghio’s Burger, among others.

Gran Canaria will be represented by establishments such as There or Nothing, Damn Smash Burgers, Holy Burger Smash, and Oh How Good, in addition to 200 Grams.

Lanzarote will contribute with Leo’s Burgers and La Palma will be represented by Food Truck Good Rollito.

Diverse Zones: Vegan, Gluten-Free, Sweet…

The festival will feature a section dedicated to vegan and gluten-free options, courtesy of Atomic! The Lagoon.

Alongside this, two burger stalls from Madrid, Briochef Burgers and Ficus Burger & Food, will showcase their offerings next to the sweet area, featuring posts from Breaking Moulds and Goes from Donuts.

The beverage offerings will highlight locally crafted beers from the Canary Islands, alongside international selections, and a mojito bar hosted by Mojitos in Your Event.

A variety of awards will be presented at the festival. A jury led by the specialised account @Canaryfoodies will honour the best burgers of the occasion, including a top prize of €1,000, along with recognition awards of €300 and €150 for the subsequent places. Additionally, the public will vote for their favourite burger, with the winner receiving €150.

This edition will serve as a part of the lead-up to a grand final envisioned for 2026, incorporating winners from various islands and prior editions.
