The Governing Council has sanctioned the initiation of the University Master in Industrial and Robotics Informatics at the University of La Laguna, as announced by the Executive on Monday in a statement.
This accredited qualification, which will be offered in partnership with the University of A Coruña and the University of Extremadura, enhances collaboration between public bodies and broadens the specialised educational options within the University System of the Islands.
The Minister of Universities, Science, Innovation and Culture, Migdalia Machín, remarked that “this new qualification enables the ongoing enhancement of the public provision of masters in the Canary Islands, while promoting cooperation with other universities and providing students with access to a wider variety of academic paths.”
The regional government clarified that this degree has received a report assessing its necessity, as well as its academic and social viability from the Canarian University Quality and Educational Assessment (ACCUEE).
Its authorisation adheres to the procedures and standards set forth in both national and regional regulations, and is supported by a positive report from the University Council of the Canary Islands.
The launch of this programme aligns with the regional executive’s commitment to enhancing academic training, by providing an offer that is attuned to contemporary trends and the aspirations of students looking to advance their careers within the university framework of the archipelago.
