A 47-year-old man tragically passed away on Monday after being rescued from the waters at Playa del Puertito de Adeje, in Tenerife, according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
Lifeguards in the vicinity retrieved the man from the water and administered basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques until the arrival of two ambulances from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC).
SUC personnel proceeded with advanced resuscitation techniques but, regrettably, were unable to revive him, leading to the confirmation of the man’s death.
The Local Police assisted the emergency services, while the Civil Guard undertook the necessary investigative processes.
