The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility for the Government of the Canary Islands announced on Wednesday that, starting today, April 9, at 8:00 PM and continuing until April 11 at 6:00 AM, both lanes of the TF-1 will be wholly closed to facilitate the installation of prefabricated beams for the semi-launch at Chafiras.
According to a statement from the Canarian government, during these works, which are part of the construction of the third lane along the TF-1 from San Isidro to the Americas section, traffic will be redirected within the upper and lower Chafiras area between exits 62 and 64. This will ensure smooth traffic flow in the vicinity and lessen the impact on road users.
The General Directorate of Road Infrastructure urges drivers to exercise extreme caution, as well as to adhere to traffic signage and guidance from operators to ensure safety during the construction works.
