The Local Police of Arona has conducted a targeted operation aimed at addressing the unapproved street trading in the areas of Los Cristianos and Las Américas beach, with the objective of ensuring public order, citizen safety, and adherence to existing regulations.
The initiative, executed by officers in collaboration with the tourist police service, concentrated on key locations where there had been a notable prevalence of illicit commercial activity. Consequently, various items were confiscated, such as clothing, bags, and more, all intended for sale without the necessary permits.
Throughout the operation, no significant incidents occurred, and the intervention proceeded smoothly. The Arona Local Police plans to continue implementing these kinds of checks regularly, bolstering their presence in the most impacted areas and reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding legitimate trade and upholding municipal regulations.
