The La Laguna City Council has recently declared the closure of coastal areas within the municipality, following the Prealert issued by the Government of the Canary Islands due to storms, rainfall, strong winds, and potential flooding risks.
The unfavourable sea conditions have prompted a red flag to be raised in Jér, Bajamar, Punta del Hidalgo, and La Barranquera, thereby prohibiting swimming activities.
