Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 6 Apr. (Press Europa) –
A 42-year-old male has sustained injuries on Saturday following a fall at the breakwater near AC/ Francisco Andrade Fumero, within the municipality of Arona, Tenerife, as detailed by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident took place at approximately 7:21 p.m., when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification indicating that an individual had fallen at the breakwater and was unable to leave unaided, thus requiring rescue and medical assistance.
Upon arrival at the location, personnel from the Tenerife Fire Consortium rescued the injured individual and transported him to the site where the SUC ambulance awaited. After receiving initial medical attention, he was subsequently taken to the specified hospital.
During the first assessment, the victim was found to have sustained moderate trauma to a lower limb.
