The works began in September, and it is planned to completely reopen the road at the end of April
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Apr 5 (Press Europa) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has reopened this Friday one of the lanes of the TF-31 road, in the direction of the port of La Cruz by Martiánez, at the height of the Sardor de los Pastores.
The partial opening responds to the need to improve the circulation in the urban area, especially affected after its closure for works, as reported on Friday the island corporation.
The Minister of Roads, Dámaso Arteaga, who has highlighted the fulfillment of the “compressed compressed” with the municipality, to open at least the sense of departure at the moment, has said that it is confident that at the end of this month the road can be completely reopened.
The performance in the TF-31 is part of a hydraulic channeling project with an investment of 600,000 euros, destined to channel “safely” the rainwater that historically have caused closures and detachments at this point on the road. The technical solution includes an reinforced concrete frame that protects the road and the adjacent pedestrian walk.
The Cabildo has insisted that, although traffic has already been restored in the departure, the works continue, so it has been recommended to extreme precaution and respect the provisional signaling.
