The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife had to remove a group of individuals this Thursday from García Sanabria Park in the capital. These individuals had bypassed the barrier ribbons which had been placed to prevent access due to precautionary measures for high winds, as declared in Tenerife and La Palma due to the Nuria Borrasca.
Furthermore, officers have evacuated tourists from several viewpoints within Anaga Rural Park.
The police force has communicated through its social media that access to Las Teresitas beach has also been closed, in coordination with the Civil Protection of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The Operational Coordination Centre of the Local Administration (CECOPAL) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife continues to stress the importance of “responsibility and adherence to the recommended guidelines or prohibitions to avoid unnecessary hazards”.
