SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3 APR. (Press Europa) –
The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility for the Government of the Canary Islands has provisionally granted the second phase of the San Sebastián-Hospital-ávalos Circumvallation project in San Sebastián de la Gomera, amounting to 15,786,843.13 euros including IGIC.
The tender committee has recommended the provisional awarding of the contract to the consortium comprised of Huarte Lain, SA and Construcciones Sabina 2014, SLU, as stated by the regional department in an announcement.
This section concerns the GM-1 and the access route to the lomada leading to the Ávalos area. The aim of this initiative is to establish a circumvallation route that channels traffic from both Ávalos and the Village areas, as well as the clove region, thereby preventing this traffic from traversing the San Sebastián town centre.
According to the Regional Executive, this infrastructure will enhance mobility and connectivity across the island, while also improving access to key areas and streamlining traffic between San Sebastián de la Gomera and the island’s hospital.
