Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2 Apr. (Press Europa) –
Officers from the Civil Guard in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have apprehended two males, aged 55 and 22, who reside in the municipality of San Cristóbal de la Laguna, on suspicion of committing a theft within an “occupied” hotel in Callao salvaje (Adeje).
As part of the surveillance operations conducted by the Civil Guard units around the hotel complex in question, a total of five individuals have been arrested in the act over recent months while perpetrating offences or shortly after their commission.
The officers have successfully recovered furniture valued at over 25,000 euros that was stolen from inside the hotel, including tables, chairs, sun loungers, and industrial appliances (refrigerators, ovens, etc.).
During the most recent incident, following the notification of the theft, a tracking operation was established in which the Central Operational Services (COS) effectively coordinated multiple units of the Civil Guard from the southern part of the island, ultimately enabling them to intercept the vehicle and apprehend the two suspects, as well as retrieve the furniture they had recently taken.
The detainees, along with the related proceedings, have been presented to the Arona Court of Instruction.
