The current leader of the PSOE in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Patricia Hernández, is set to be appointed this weekend as the new president of the party at the insular level, as revealed exclusively to local media by sources within the political organisation.
This nomination will be formally announced during the upcoming Congress of the Insular PSOE, commencing this weekend. Tamara Raya from Puerto will be re-elected as the new secretary, succeeding Pedro Martín from Isora, who has chosen not to seek re-election.
The selection of Hernández as the new president of the Socialists in Tenerife aligns with her impressive history in the party and stems from her strong electoral performances, as she is regarded as one of their leading candidates for the forthcoming elections.
