A 78-year-old woman has tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on the TF-1 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, within the municipality of Arona, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of the 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at 23:58 on Monday, prompting a response from personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), who upon arrival in the area could only confirm the deceased status of the victim due to the severe injuries she sustained.
At the scene, road maintenance teams from the Cabildo de Tenerife also arrived to clear the roadway, while Civil Guard officers managed traffic and conducted the necessary documentation.
