The National Police alongside the Department of Security and Integrity of LaLiga de Fútbol Professional have arranged two training sessions focused on operational procedures in football stadiums, aimed at private security personnel, which will take place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and San Cristóbal de la Laguna in person.
The training in Gran Canaria is scheduled for April 10 at the Gran Canaria stadium, located at Funds de Segura S/N (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and will be inaugurated by the Chief of Police of Canaria, Mr. Jesús María Gomez Martin, as indicated by the security agency in a press release.
The subsequent event will occur on April 8, at the Sports City of Tenerife “Javier Pérez”, on San Francisco de Paula 35 (San Cristóbal de la Laguna), which will be opened by the chief commissioner, provincial head of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Don Eloy Román López. Interested participants can attend the morning session starting at 8:45 h.
The sessions will be delivered by personnel from various branches of the National Police, particularly from the National Sports Office, the Central Citizen Participation Unit, and the Central Private Security Unit, in addition to members of the Laliga Integrity and Security Department.

To partake in the training sessions, individuals must be affiliated with the private security sector and register via the Private Blue Network Area on the National Police’s website.

It is stated that this training will count for security guards as accredited hours for training, updating, and specialised face-to-face instruction. The stamping of cards for attendees will be conducted on-site at either the corresponding territorial unit or the Central Private Security Unit.
Due to venue capacity limits, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis managed by the Central Private Security Unit. The deadline for submitting applications will close on April 2, 2025.
