Individuals keen on joining the Natural Flower Cruces Contest, the XLVIII exhibition of flowers and plants, the Canarian gastronomic exhibition, the XLVIII Exhibition of Canarian Crafts, the display of Cruces in La Rambla, or the XVI Contest of School Cruces crafted from recycled materials, can do so from today until 4th April via the forms available on the electronic platform of the City of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Furthermore, those wishing to partake in the gala for the election of the Queen of the May Fiestas, as well as the selection of the Queen of the elderly or the appointment of the Magician and Child Magician, have until 9th April to complete their registration, again through the electronic platform of the municipal government.
The mayor of Santa Cruz, José Manuel Bermúdez, encourages local residents to engage in the city’s founding festivities, stating, “there are numerous activities and events that we have planned and will elaborate on shortly, in which the involvement of our community is vital.”
The Councillor for Fiestas, Javier Caraballero, echoes these sentiments, highlighting, “the significance of active participation in these traditional celebrations, which help us maintain our city’s identity and preserve our cultural values.”
