Santa Cruz de Tenerife 28 Mar. (Europa Press) –
A man has sustained moderate injuries in a fire that broke out in the garage of a detached house in Icod de los Vinos, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at 8:29 p.m. on Thursday along the Amparo road in the aforementioned municipality, where firefighters from Tenerife were dispatched to extinguish the flames and ventilate the premises.
Meanwhile, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the affected individual, who experienced moderate smoke inhalation and was subsequently transported in a medical ambulance to Hospital del Norte.
Additionally, local police officers were called to the scene, assisting the emergency resources, while Civil Guard personnel initiated the relevant procedures.
