A collision involving a van and a school transport bus occurred on the TF-5, heading north, near Ronda in La Laguna. As per 1-1-2’s report on its social networks, the incident has resulted in seven minors and two adults sustaining minor to moderate injuries.
Those affected have been taken to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC) and local health centres; fortunately, none are in serious condition.
Emergency service personnel in the Canaries are assessing the injured, confirming that none have incurred severe injuries.
The 1-1-2 service has specified that seven additional minors were transported to the San Benito Health Centre in private vehicles.
The two adults involved are the occupants of the van.
Following the accident, there have been delays on the roadway, prompting authorities to advise caution for drivers travelling in the vicinity.
