Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 23 Mar. (Europa Press) –

The Cabildo de Tenerife has, via the Ministry of Roads, allocated a contract for the renovation and enhancement of the facilities at the road and landscape service workshop in La Cuesta, amounting to a total of 1.8 million euros.

The project will be executed by the Conservación, Asfalto y Construcción SAU company and is slated for completion within 12 months, as stated by the island institution.

This initiative falls under the measures to improve the working conditions at the operational centres that are directly managed by the council in the municipalities of Los Realejos, Granadilla de Abona, and La Laguna (La Cuesta), as explained by the Minister of Roads, Dámaso Arteaga.

The renovation and enhancement plan for the Workshop Park includes renovations to toilets, showers, and changing facilities; general sanitation provisions for network connectivity; and upgrades to fire protection systems, including suppression, detection, and evacuation measures.

Additionally, the project comprises changing the perimeter fence, access doors, and barriers; replacing access doors to buildings; enhancing the pit for trucks; adapting the rear platform; upgrading both interior and exterior lighting; improving machinery and equipment; along with paving and painting tasks.
