Santa Cruz de Tenerife 21 Mar. (Europa Press) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has released the guidelines governing the new call for grants aimed at individuals for the restoration of cultural heritage in this Friday’s edition of the Official Gazette of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with an initial budget of 800,000 euros.
This assistance will finance up to 50% of the total cost of the works, limited to 30,000 euros per beneficiary. In exceptional financial circumstances, it could reach up to 100% for certain applicants.
Eligible interventions include: conservation, restoration, consolidation, rehabilitation, reconstruction of elements possessing cultural value, and modernisation or replacement of water supply and sanitation networks, as well as electricity and energy systems, as stated by the Cabildo in a press release.
The Insular Director of Historical Heritage, Isabel de Esteban, emphasised the significance of such subsidies in aiding the maintenance and enhancement of properties with cultural value.
Last year, the Cabildo reported a record number of applications for this funding, with a total of 263 requests, marking a 25% increase compared to 2023.
Applications must be submitted using the standard application form available at the electronic headquarters https://sede.tenerife.es, with a separate request required for each individual or legal entity.
