The Civil Guard is currently investigating a burglary that took place during the early hours of Monday at a supermarket belonging to the Alteza chain, situated in the municipality of Arafo, in the southeast of Tenerife.
The incident occurred around 2:30 AM, when at least three individuals utilised a dark-coloured Volkswagen Golf MK III to smash into the main entrance of the establishment.
Several local residents from Güímar captured footage of the scene, showing how the thieves gained entry to the premises without regard for activated alarms or the presence of onlookers.
Authorities are focusing on identifying the suspects and locating the vehicle, which is believed to have also been taken without permission.
