The public entity in Tenerife has ratified the I Equality Plan for its employees. This agreement, which is initially valid until December 2028, was formalised last Friday during an event attended by the Minister of Culture and President of the Auditorium of Tenerife, José Carlos Acha; along with company representatives Daniel Cerezo and Sandra Kouwenberg, worker representative Araceli Vera, and Eloy González, the director of Innovatic Consultant Knowledge Management.
This pledge is pertinent to the company’s operations and the relationships with all employees of the Tenerife auditorium. The inaugural plan encompasses 29 measures and 54 initiatives, and it will be assessed by a monitoring committee, as noted by the town hall on Monday.
At the end of this period, a review will be conducted to suggest any necessary expansions or alterations based on the outcomes from the first four years of implementation.
Three key characteristics underpin the organisation’s labour relations. Firstly, the public nature of the company and its structural connection to Cabildo de Tenerife dictate the salary framework, job types, and operational structure.
The Auditorium of Tenerife has demonstrated a strong commitment to gender equality through the development and endorsement of several frameworks, including the Equality Plan.
This plan outlines a series of objectives and strategies aimed at ensuring effective and genuine equality in the relationship between the company and its employees, thereby contributing to the advancement of a society founded on values, inclusivity, and respect for diversity.
