Santa Cruz de Tenerife 16 Mar. (Europa Press) –
A 59-year-old individual sustained injuries this Sunday following a blow to the head on Aceviño street, within the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred at 01:16, when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification indicating that a man had incurred a head injury and required medical assistance. Subsequently, CECOES promptly dispatched the necessary emergency resources to the scene.
Upon arrival, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Department provided care to the victim, who exhibited serious trauma at the outset of assistance.
After stabilising him, he was initially transported to the Hospiten Bellevue University Hospital, where he was assessed and later referred to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands in a critical state.
Meanwhile, the Local Police collaborated with health services while the National Police initiated proceedings.
The National Police has yet to provide further information regarding this incident, as the investigation remains ongoing.
