Santa Cruz de Tenerife 15 Mar. (Europa Press) –
Two individuals were injured this Friday, one of them critically, following an incident involving a quad bike on the TF-21, within the municipality of Vilaflor, on the island of Tenerife, as reported on Saturday by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident transpired at approximately 6:37 p.m., when the 1-1-2 command centre received a notification regarding the accident involving a quad on the specified route, indicating that two individuals required medical assistance, prompting immediate activation of the necessary emergency services to the site.
Upon arrival, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) provided initial medical assistance to the two individuals involved. The 22-year-old woman suffered from serious polytrauma and needed to be conveyed to Hospiten Sur University and subsequently to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
The other individual, a male, sustained minor injuries and was transferred to the South Hospital.
While environmental staff assisted the medical teams, the Civil Guard undertook the relevant procedures.
