A Cayuco carrying 58 migrants — 56 men and two women — has arrived at the port of La Restinga on the island of El Hierro this Friday, according to reports from maritime rescue sources and 112 Canaria.
The vessel was spotted five miles south of the island, and the Salvamar Acrux was deployed to assist her to the dock under safe conditions.
Following medical attention provided by SUC and the Red Cross, two individuals were found to have minor health issues.
