On Thursday morning, two employees of the municipal cleaning service sustained injuries due to a tree branch falling in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The incident occurred shortly before 07:30 when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government received a call from the Local Police, requesting medical assistance for the two injured personnel after the tree branch fell in the vicinity of the Alameda of the Duke of Santa Elena.
The victims are reported to have sustained moderate cranial trauma and a mild thoracic injury, respectively. Both individuals were transported by ambulance to La Candelaria Hospital for treatment.
The Local Police have completed the necessary documentation regarding the incident.
