Maritime rescue services assisted a Cayuco into port on Monday evening, carrying 92 migrants, which was found 25 miles off the coast of La Restinga, on the island of El Hierro, as reported by the state agency on Tuesday.
After the vessel was spotted by the Helimer 205 rescue helicopter, the acrux was deployed to escort it to Puerto Herreño.
Aboard were 92 individuals, all of whom were of sub-Saharan origin, arriving at the port in seemingly good health.
