Santa Cruz de Tenerife 10 Mar. (Europa Press) –
Six individuals, comprising four women and two men aged between 42 and 81 years, sustained injuries on Monday following a collision between a bus and a minibus on the TF-652, near the cookies area, within the municipality of Arona (Tenerife), as reported by the Coordinating Centre for Security and Emergencies (Cecos 1-1-2) of the Canary Islands government.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m., when Cecos 1-1-2 received a notification regarding the accident, prompting an immediate activation of the required emergency resources.
Upon arrival at the scene, personnel from the SUC provided initial medical assistance to the affected individuals, which included five passengers from La Guagua and the driver of the minibus. They were subsequently transported to the Hospital del Sur and Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
Most of the victims suffered moderate trauma to their upper limbs, although one individual presented moderate multiple bruises at the outset of care.
Following this, the Local Police assisted the medical services, managed traffic flow, and initiated the necessary procedures.
